i dont think that you have to have a name… there are universal chargers you can buy at like walmart or target, there should be somewhere on the drill that saays the voltage thats all you really need…. atleast for a universal are charger… i had bout a univ. car charger for my portable dvd player… and my dad had a drill but no charger… so i just charged it with the car charger.. be careful though make sure you know the voltage and read the instrucitons.
No, If you dont what kind of drill it is your out of luck. If there is no name on the drill it is a cheap drill and not worth spending any money on. I was at walmart last year and they were selling 18 volt Kawasaki drills for 20 bucks. If you want a cheap cordless something like that is the way to go. I suggest you spend some money and get a Milwaukee or something worth while.
Your problem actually is that you do not know the spec. of the battery. Do you know the voltage of the drill? If you have a charger of compatible voltage and a plug of the correct polarity( which will put ‘positive’ where its meant to be) try it….
