can't get drill bit in a cordless drill?

I have a firestorm black and decker cordless drill and i can't seem to get the drill bit back in.

I see that they have an 18 volt kit that comes with the drill, circular saw , 2 batteries,a charger and a worklight for 0.00 Is this a good deal or not. I know that Lowes carrys this brand and that it is made by Black and Decker.
Thanks Jared

It's a cheap Black and Decker cordless drill, 18v. I would like to know what voltage tolerance it has(can I use a 15v power supply, how about a 24volt power supply?) and would like to know typically how many amps these cordless drills use under full load.

the Batteries are shot basically, and I can't find a corded drill with the cordless features(torque settings etc.) so I wish to utilize these drills I have laying around, I was looking in catalogs and seems to me a good power supply I can find is a 15v with 10 amps continuous or a 24 power supply.

I hooked the drill up to my ex-tech variable voltage 3amp 0-30v power supply, my current limiter would keep tripping and can only screw a deck screw in about half way....

What would be a good power supply for this application, and I can't seem to find the watts the tool draws, so I am not sure how big of a supply I need, or the voltage.

WHAT CORDLESS DRILL SHOULD I BUY!?

Please pick a brand... I want to hear what people think about cordless drills and which brands they like better... I have a Makita and the I wasn't crazy about the power it provided, I had a Black and Decker and found i wasn't crazy about the operations of it, I have a new DeWalt and found that my battery dies really fast!. Remember the drill I am buying will be 18V no matter what brand it is... you can pick a drill from the list below or add in a brand that you like..

Black & Decker
DeWalt
Hitachi
Makita
Ryobi
Porter Cable
Skill
??

Please answer honestly and you may add reason in to why you chose the drill!! Any past experiences?

The charger plugs into the back of the drill and is not a separate unit where you take the battery out to place it into a charger. I lost mine and would like to purchase one but cannot find a part number even at the black and decker website.

Cordless hammer tool?

I saw a commercial a month or so ago about some kind of nifty small tool that is maybe a cordless mechanical hammer or drill or something like that. Thought it was Black and Decker and tried to call and ask but they were no help. Need a Christmas present for husband. NOT a regular hammer drill- it was kind of like Black and Decker small adjustable screwdriver but that was not it.... PLEASE HELP!!!

Alright I went to OSH today and bought a craftsman drill that was normally like 100bucks and got it at 50... So now I'm wondering whether or not I got a good tool... The only tools I've ever used were Ryobi and Black and Decker and they didnt have any of either of those at the store... So... Whatcha think? Is Craftsman a good tool?
I bought the 3/8'' Drill/Driver with Worklight 15.6v with 24 torque settings...

or will it blink when its fully charged thanks in advance
its a black and decker 18Volt if that helps

We are trying to change bits in a borrowed drill and cannot figure it out and the owner does not remember. It is a 12v Firestorm by black and decker.

I have a pack of Black and Decker drill bits and a Black and Decker cordless drill. The drill has a hexagonal chuck but the drill bits are round and of various sizes. I can't find an adapter among the parts I have.
