I've got a Bosch PBH2200RE SDS+ heavy duty hammer drill.
Will normal SDS drill bits fit my SDS+ chuck?
There seems to be a good range of SDS drill bits available, but not so many SDS+.
I have got a conventional 1/2" chuck and key adaptor, but it's bulky and tedious to use (and defeats the purpose of having any form of SDS in the first place). It does allow me to use my older "normal" drills though.

I need to use a drill to make stuff with wood and drill holes in a regular wall but will it have enough power to use with a hammer drill attachment? ( used to drill into brick )

Hello,
I am in the market for a new drill. Can I use a hammer drill for everyday things like screwing into wood, etc? Or should I get a regular cordless drill? I occasionally need to drill into concrete. Will the hammer drill take care of all my needs?
should i just get a hammer drill?

I have a 1/2" hammer drill and I need to install shelving that requires a 3/16" drill bit (according to the instructions). Do I need to buy a new drill or do I just buy the bit and attach it somehow?

Im looking to add a all in one hammer drill-driver to my tool collection. I just wanted some recommendations on some cordless models that are cost friendly and do a great job. Thanks!

Besides the convenience of a cordless and the power of a corded one, what else should I take into consideration when purchasing a hammer drill?
Also, any suggestion on what brand, Dewalt, Craftsman, Ryo, Black & Decker?
how do I decide what size chuck?

Any tips on drilling concrete? I've bought the standard concrete bits but have not had much luck with them. They just don't seem to drill well, even with a hammer drill. Is there an all around bit out there that will do a decent job in drilling concrete (just around the house like porch foundations, etc...)?

I have recently purchased a used !" SDS Rotary Hammer Drill and only need to drill a relatively small hole through a concrete slab. Is this too much tool for the job or will it work. I don't own a regular hammer drill and someone told me I would burn the motor up if I used a regular hammer drill to drill about 20 holes through concrete.

I saw a commercial a month or so ago about some kind of nifty small tool that is maybe a cordless mechanical hammer or drill or something like that. Thought it was Black and Decker and tried to call and ask but they were no help. Need a Christmas present for husband. NOT a regular hammer drill- it was kind of like Black and Decker small adjustable screwdriver but that was not it.... PLEASE HELP!!!
