I notice there are a number of models of DeWalt cordless drills. Some are less than 0. Some are way over 0. I would imagine that if you spend more, you get more torque, better bearings, longer battery life, etc. Is that true? Are the more expensive drills worth it? By the way, I'm just a homeowner, so I don't need something that can run all day. But I'm afraid if I buy a cheap one, it will go bad in a short period of time. I've gone that route too many times. Also, I don't need a hammer drill .... just a drill/driver. One last thing. Is there someplace to buy a DeWalt cheaper than I can get it at Home Depot or Lowe's? (I'm in Maryland) Is an online purchase a good idea and cheaper?

In the big box stores I see Dewalt and other brand 70-100 piece drill bit sets for good prices. If I'm using a Makita should I search for Makita bits or would any brand bit work the same?
The main reason I'm curious is because when I was at Home Depot recently,the guy helping me said that the Bosch drills are picky with the fitting of other brand bits. That's what made me wonder if it applies to Makita too.

It needs to be able to hold #68 drill bits, which are 0.031 inches in diameter.
I need to use really small drill bits with my dremel and it looks like I need some kind of attachment for the dremel to hold the bits. Do Lowes or Home Depot sell some sort of attachment?

This drill was a gift to my father and I lost the reciept before I gave it to him. I bought it from Home Depot is there anyway I can get another receipt or any way around this. I really want that Lifetime Service Agreement

There should be a way around this because heres my idea, what if I just returned the one I purchased first (with the lost reciept) and got store credit to buy another one. I would get another reciept right and then I could register my product. However that is a real hassle
