How should I connect my impact driver to regular drill bits?
This is roughly the impact driver I have.

And these are the bits..

I broke my normal drill and I've never used my impact for drilling (seems like not quite what it's meant for). Anyways I don't have enough money to purchase a new drill this week and I'm working on a new deck. Is there a way to use the smaller bits (Should only need 1/8") in the impact?
Thanks in advance!

Which cordless screwdriver should I get?
Im in the market for a 12 volt cordless screwdriver lithium ion. Im debating in between the Milwaukee M12 screwdriver and the Dewalt 12 volt max. My dad has the Milwaukee M12 which we bought 3 years ago.Other than having the batteries replaced once under warranty tool is working great. I went down to my local home depot and held the Dewalt 12 volt max and its very comfortable and feels like it was made for my hand. I have four Dewalt tools over the years. Ive always been told its a comemricial Black N Decker. Im a more heavier Milwaukee user though. But in order to get the Milwaukee M12 to stand up like the Dewalt, i have to get the XC battery pack for another . I thought Id ask tool users which one they prefer and why Milwaukee M12 screwdriver or Dewalt 12 volt max screwdriver?
How should I best recharge this Lithium Ion battery?
I have bought a cordless drill from a garage sale %no paperwork / no manuals.
This tool uses a Lithium Ion battery pac.
How many hours should I have to recharge this battery in order to keep this unit fully charged?
And does the Lithium Ion technology require me to fully discharge the battery so I can recharge it from the 0-point (like Nicad technology) for longest / best longevity?
Need opinion on cordless drills. Keep the Dewalt or return it?
It's time for me to seriously upgrade from a Black & Decker 7.2V(Target) drill to a new one with more power, speed, etc. I'll be using the drill for basic things such as putting up blinds to maybe down the road doing a deck, kitchen, sheetrock, etc. By know means am I going to build a house with it but I do want a drill that will be able to handle small to large projects. I'm looking for something that is lightweight as well.
I picked up a Dewalt 18V (DW959K2)from Lowes on sale for 9. It turns out that it's some sort of model that Lowes doesn't even carry now. I don't know if it's an older model or what. It doesn't have a rubber grip like the current Dewalts leading me to believe that it may not be comfortable after extended usage.
So my dilemma: Do I return it and check out one of the newer XRP Dewalts like the 14.4 or reg 18V(same as mine with grip?) or should I check out something newer like the Makita Lithium-ion 3.5 lps 18v,Panasonic 15.6 (3.5 NI-MH) or other brands? Help.
