I have bought a padlock and it says "drill pilot holes for the screws. Use 3.5mm drill bit." But I don't have one of those at the moment! Can I usse a 3mm or a 4mm one instead?

im looking for somthing cheap around 0 I need a cordless drill with good battery life and good features and lots of power I will use this drill on wood and some light metal. I also want a basic drill bit set and be able to drive screws directly into wood. I also need a basic saw for cutting wood corded or cordless saw it doesnt matter to me.

whats a good set that has good reviews? basically I need a good drill and saw set for the price and please state the work your set you answered can do.
